Lesmars is a small hobby, show kennel in SW Michigan.
We've had dogs pretty much our entire lives, and we discovered the Chinese Crested dog in 2004. We decided to start showing cresteds in conformation, as a hobby. It had been something I had always wanted to do. I talked my mother into it, so we could spend some quality time together and the rest is history.
We have met many wonderful people, and have learned alot about showing and our chosen breed with the help of others who find Chinese Cresteds as their passion also. We strive to do the best for our breeds health, temperment and structure. We've bred only to have sound dogs that conform to the AKC standard of perfection and only for ourselves first. We have learned much, but there is always more to be learned, Hopefully we can accomplish what other reputable breeders have in all our future practices.
